Leadchip was originally the SICG group and APM (Advanced Power Management) business unit of Shanghai Belling founded by Zheng Zhang in November 2003. 

上海岭芯微电子有限公司的前身是上海贝岭的先进电源事业部。张征等华虹集团最优秀的工艺工程师团队结合贝岭的设计和生产线在2003年11月成立了该事业部。
